Elle and Elle Design Co. provides branding and web design for female entrepreneurs and creatives in the health and wellness and beauty industries.

  1. Constructing a Verbal Identity Playbook

  3. Building out an educationally rich blog that would foster community 



When I got connected with Elle and Elle, they were looking to completely revamp their writing. They had copywriting for their website, but it felt misaligned with their values and where they wanted to take their business. So we dove deep into who they are and why they started their business. As we teased out their brand story, beautiful values and motivations started to come forward. For this project we decided to focus on

The Verbal Identity 

Elle and Elle fit really well into the Caretaker Brand Archetype. 

The motto for the Caretaker is “Love your neighbor as yourself”.

Elle and Elle have rooted their business in the belief that if they can help other creative female entrepreneurs thrive through brand identity and web design, the same will be true for them. 

This means the majority of their daily tasks center around taking care of their clients. Whether it’s answer questions, giving feedback and collaborating or doing the actual brand design work, Marielle and Michelle dedicate themselves to propping other women up and making sure their needs are met.

Inspired by the desire to work remotely and build community alongside building a design business, Marielle and Michelle are sisters, founders and CEOs offer more than the stereotypical design, they’re also passionate about building an online community of like minded, ambitious entrepreneurs” 

The Brand Voice

Elle and Elle’s brand voice is a direct shoot off from their verbal identity. To make friends and form trusted collaborations, other entrepreneurs must trust them. Elle and Elle speak in a loving, kind, friendly way. 

Here’s a favorite line from their copy that demonstrates their brand voice

“What truly sets us apart is our genuine passion for collaborating with women in business.
We understand that it's not just about aesthetics; it's about making a lasting impression and boosting confidence in your brand. We are committed to working closely with each client to ensure that our designs not only look fantastic but also reflect the unique identity and aspirations of their businesses.”
